James Horstkamp

Chairman

James holds a BSc. in Business from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Manchester University in England. He brings extensive national and international organizational leadership experience. James spent over a decade in Central Europe and was responsible for establishing and managing an international education program with 16 courses and 30 professors. He then became co-owner and Managing Director of offices in 7 countries for a consultancy and helped lead the company to become the largest privately held recruitment agency in Central Europe. His career led him to become the Director of a Continental Europe division for a Nasdaq 100. For the past 20 years, he has been the Founder and President of Energy Select, one of Maryland’s largest alternative energy companies. Energy Select is the Founder of Energy Impact and funds its operating expenses.

Robert Agee

President

Bob has decades of experience in policy implementation and project management in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. In the public sector he was the Annapolis City Manager, Public Works Director, and worked in the Maryland General Assembly.  He was the project manager for an 18MW solar array on a 200 acre closed landfill which remains one of America’s largest.  In the private sector he led in the identification of solar opportunities on Maryland owned land throughout the State for Maryland Environmental Service.  He was also active in the Historical Trust, the International City and County, Managers Association, and a governor’s task force. In the private sector he was a Regional VP for Government Relations, Environment, and Land Use and was a Regional VP for an Environmental Company. He remains an Associate for an  Environmental Development company as well as an Energy Advisor at a large solar company.  In the non-profit sector he a is member of numerous Boards, Commissions, Public Policy, Charitable, and Social organizations


Daniel Horstkamp

Solar Engineer

Daniel has a decade of experience designing and perfecting solar systems. As a NABCEP solar Engineer and Licensed Electrician he has designed hundreds of solar projects, from 3 kW Tiny Homes with storage, to Low to Moderate Income homes at 5 kW, up to larger Commercial and Industrial systems at 500 kW. He loves to ski, hike, and fish.

Henry Fricke

Board Secretary

Having completed philanthropic work in local communities, he has expanded his scope to the international arena using alternative energy as the agent for change. Henry is also completing his Bachelors at James Madison University with a focus on Computer Information Systems. Henry can frequently be found hiking the Shenandoah, fishing, or reading.
